He started his career as a fund manager at Garanti Asset Management in 1997, continued as Department Manager and Coordinator, and established the portfolio management unit at EFG Istanbul (EFG Eurobank) in 2008 as the founding Director. He worked at Garanti Asset Management (BBVA) for the second time; he served as Deputy General Manager and Chief Strategist responsible for strategy, research, sales and marketing. Following his position as CEO of Ünlü Asset Management in 2018, Tolga Macit Güsar worked as the Retail Banking Group Director, Private Banking Country Head , Investment Services Group Director and also as a Board Member of TEB Investment in the TEB (BNP Paribas) Group until the end of 2024. He was the Board Advisor and Partner in Rota Portfolio Management until May 2025. As of May 2025, he started working as the CEO of Alternatif Menkul.
Tolga Macit Güsar; he graduated from Boğaziçi University in Business Administration and completed his master’s degree on MBA in Finance at Yeditepe University. He also holds a PhD degree in Accounting and Auditing from Istanbul Aydin University.
