Professor Ngaire Woods is the founding Dean of the Blavatnik School of Government and Professor of Global Economic Governance at the University of Oxford. Her research explores globalisation, development, international institutions, and how to improve organisational governance. She established Oxford’s Global Economic Governance Programme and co-founded the Oxford-Princeton Global Leaders Fellowship with Robert O. Keohane. She also led the founding of the Blavatnik School of Government.

She served on the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank’s International Advisory Panel and is an Expert Advisor to the Australian Government’s Strengthening Democracy Taskforce, Co-Chair of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Good Governance and a member of South Africa’s G20 Africa Advisory Panel.
